
Old Porsche is the new Porsche
In May 2022, R-GO presented its first exhibition at StandBy, an art space in Harajuku, Tokyo. The concept was simple—showcasing a single car—yet the impact was profound.
On display was a distinctive lime-green 1974 Porsche 911S 2.7, presented without elaborate explanation, allowing “art and craft” to speak quietly for themselves.
The exhibition embodied R-GO’s brand philosophy: a commitment to Restoration rather than Customization, guided by the mission of returning each vehicle as faithfully as possible to its original condition when it left the factory in Germany decades ago.
This philosophy was expressed through a minimalist presentation that let the car convey its own essence, leaving a lasting impression on visitors.
As R-GO’s inaugural exhibition, it revealed how strongly—and with quiet authority—its aesthetics and craftsmanship can engage an audience.
