Advance Notice
Titled “Advance Notice,” the exhibition recreated R-GO’s restoration workshop, inviting visitors to encounter a Porsche 911 in its state just before being brought back to life by skilled craftsmen.
A section of the actual workshop, normally active at R-GO’s Tokyo base, was reconstructed at StandBy and featured the unfinished body of a car awaiting restoration.
Every element was thoughtfully arranged to offer an intimate view of the car’s “true condition” prior to completion. Alongside the vehicle, tools used daily by R-GO’s technicians were displayed, underscoring both the craftsmanship inherent in every stage of the process and the deep commitment invested in each car.
